Our Story
Corelyric was founded in Valencia, Spain, on the first of May, 2026, by two people who had spent years dragging each other up mountains, across river crossings, and into campsites that were always just a little too far from the car.
Ignacio Martinez Gisbert and Francisco Javier Fuentes Gisbert didn't set out to build a company. They set out to fix a problem. Every trip they planned came with the same ritual: hours spent comparing gear from a dozen different brands, half of it overpriced, half of it flimsy, and almost none of it actually tested by people who used it the way they did, on real trails, in real weather, carrying everything on their own backs.
After one particularly wet weekend in the mountains outside Valencia, when a supposedly waterproof tent let them down at two in the morning, they decided they'd rather build the gear themselves than keep gambling on someone else's.
That's how Corelyric came to be.
We're based in Valencia, a city with the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, which turned out to be the perfect place to test camping gear in pretty much every condition you could ask for. We used that to our advantage from day one, trying out every product we sell in the same kind of conditions our customers actually camp in, not in a lab, not on a spec sheet, but outside, in the wind and the mud and the early morning cold.
We're still a small team. That's on purpose. It means every product we add to the shop has actually been picked up, packed, unpacked, and argued about by someone who works here. If it doesn't earn its place in a backpack, it doesn't earn its place in our store.
Our mission is simple. We want to make it easier for people to get outdoors without needing an engineering degree to choose their gear or a second mortgage to afford it. Good gear should hold up when it matters, not just when it's still in the box, and it should be priced fairly for the people who actually use it season after season.
We're just getting started, and there's a lot more of Spain, and the world, left for us to explore and bring back ideas from. But the reason we opened this shop hasn't changed since that wet night in the mountains.
We want your gear to work when you need it to, so the only thing you have to worry about out there is enjoying the trip.
Thanks for being part of the journey with us.
